This pillow is an extremely rare piece that combines two folk art traditions into a single design using puff quilt techniques with wool aesthetic of Scandinavian Rya rug texture. It is a one-of-a-kind item that was entirely handcrafted and is a true vintage artisan piece that you design a room around.


DETAILS

- The pillow face is divided into distinct, dimensional squares that create a deeply sculpted, cloud-like texture.
- Each individual square features a dense, tightly packed tufted wool finish, giving it a heavy shag appearance characteristic of a premium hand-knotted weave.
- Recessed channels run horizontally and vertically between the raised sections to form a distinct grid pattern across the entire cushion.
- Symmetrical geometric arrangement radiates outward from the center to create a balanced, concentric diamond configuration.
- Colors are fiery orange, royal blue, bright yellow, deep chocolate brown and emerald green.
- The back is a jacquard damask silky fabric.

Very well made with lots of details. Textured, puffy, and beautiful. I have never seen a pillow as cool as this one.
