B&B Lorrys was a prominent historical high end department store chain in the New York Metropolitan area. They had a flagship presence on Fifth Avenue and Broadway Street in Manhattan. They specialized in high-quality tailored apparel and fine outerwear, often importing luxury goods to cater to New York's trendy well-dressed upscale market.
The jacket's main tag shows it was produced by TORRAS, a legendary Spanish design house founded in 1951 just outside of Barcelona. The brand gained massive international acclaim starting in the 1960s for its masterful manipulation of supple, high-grade leathers.
In the mid 20th century premium US retailers frequently partnered with elite European manufacturers like TORRAS to stock their shelves with exclusive, expertly crafted imports.
