Vintage 60s Rebecca for FREDDE - Tropicana Las Vegas Boutique | Nude Illusion Brown Battenberg Lace Maxi Gown

$400.00

This gown is a high-end 1960s luxury resort-wear piece with an exclusive connection to mid-century "Old Vegas" glamour. Opened in 1966 by Freddie Glusman, Fredde was a legendary high-end clothing boutique located inside the prestigious Tropicana Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. It specialized in catering to high-rollers, celebrities, and casino headliners, carrying elite designer lines.

In the 1960s Rebecca operated on a smaller, limited production scale and their garments were sold in luxury high-end boutiques and department stores such as I. Magnin & Co. The label was known for making the fabric the star of the garments and specialized in sourcing heavy, highly tactile, and dimensional fabrics.
